To build new knowledge and innovation for health and health-related researches, the Regional Health Research and Development Consortium XI continues its annual Call for Proposals in Davao Region. This year, the submitted capsule proposals were deliberated by the consortium's    Executive Management Committee together with representatives from the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD). The screening looks into the merit, possible duplication of efforts from other regions as well as the nature of the proposals which should be based on the priority areas indicated in the 2017-2022 Region XI Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) and the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA). A total of 16 proposals were received for this year.

The researches that were approved as first priority will be asked to develop a full-blown proposal for evaluation by the consortium's Technical Review Board and (TRB) and Review Ethics Committee (REC). Approved proposals get funding support of up to P 1,000,000.00 through the Regional Research Fund from the DOST-PCHRD.
