We are inviting everyone to submit proposals to the Call for Application to the research grants under the Green Chemistry for Life Project of UNESCO’s International Basic Sciences Programme (IBSP) and PhosAgro.

  1. 6th Call for Application to the PhosAgro/UNSECO/IUPAC Grants for Research Projects in Green Chemistry

The grant programme offers up to US$ 30,000. The application is open for young scientists aged 39 and below with innovative research projects in green chemistry that respect the twelve (12 ) Principles in Green Chemistry. The applicant must also possess a PhD or equivalent in chemistry or a related interdisciplinary area and has at least three (3) publications in recognized scientific journals.

  1. PhosAgro/UNESCO/IUPAC Green Chemistry special grants for research projects on phosphogypsum

This special grant is opened in response to societal and environmental needs for young scientists aged 39 and under and with at least three (3) publications in recognized scientific journals. This will be awarded to a project in green chemistry research project on innovations in the processing and utilization of phosphogypsum, a mineral technogenic waste material produced in great quantities.

Deadline of Application: 31 August 2019.

The University of the Philippines – Institute on Aging is in need of:

1 Local data collector/field enumerator

Job description:

  1. Assists Project Assistants in the visits to libraries, conducts desk review and online search of DOH Programs and Policies on Heath of Older Persons/Senior Citizens on their region
  2. Assists in the conduct of listing of health service units and personnel who provide geriatric services per region.
  3. Coordinates with regional offices, institutions, and stakeholders to collect list of public and private geriatric service providers in their region.
  4. Participates in the development of matrix of geriatric services by region
  5. Participates in the Regional Geriatric Research Capacity Building Workshop.
  6. Attends training and project meetings.
  7. Other duties as may be assigned by Project and Study Leaders.

This will be for 2 months with Php. 19,538.40 / month compensation. He/she will start on July 2019.
