The study was focused on the phytochemical in the mint buffer extract of which the researchers found out to be the putative active group that is responsible in the inhibition of HIV-1 viral protease.
The PNHRS Week Celebration is an annual event which had become a venue for different stakeholders to interact, learn and share from each other, promote collaborative efforts and contribute to research-based solutions to health problems faced today. This year’s celebration was held at Citystate Asturias Hotel last August 10-11, 2016. With a theme “Research and Innovation for Health and the Environment”, it was hosted by the MIMAROPA Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDS) together with the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD). It was participated by around 500 health researchers and medical practitioners coming from all 17 regional consortia in the Philippines.
