We are pleased to inform you of the two available call for proposals from the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA): (i) ERIA Research on COVI D-19 and its Implications for the Regional Economy and (ii) ERIA Microdata Research Fiscal Year 2020. These are the following:
1.) The ERIA Research on COVID-19 and its Implications for Regional Economy will provide financial support up to a maximum of US$ 9,000 per study on the selected proposals depending on the type or nature of research proposal (e.g. policy discussion paper or empirical study based on a quantitative approach, etc.) All studies are expected to be fully completed by December 2020, with vary dates of submission depending on the type of nature of the study. 2.) The ERIA Microdata Research Project for Fiscal Year 2020 is within the scope of ERIA's Research Project pillars --- Deepening Economic Integration. The theme for this year's research is Global Market Entry, Survival, and Exit of Firms: Understanding the Process and the Effects. ERIA will provide financial support amounting to US$ 8,000 per paper for the selected proposals and will also cover the travel costs of one author per paper to attend the workshops of the project. The project comprises country studies by authors mainly from ERIA member countries.
