The Regional Health Research and Development Consortium (RHRDC XI) through the assistance of Alliance of Improving Health Outcomes (AIHO) and Healthdev Institute conducted a 2-day regional consultation to develop the Region’s Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) last May 10-11, 2017 at Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City. This activity is part of a larger effort in developing the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA). The NUHRA will serve as the country’s tool in guiding the stakeholders from various sectors for their health research and development efforts as this will specify the areas of research that will be prioritized for the year 2017 up to 2022.

Series of same consultation are also being conducted on all the regions across the country which will be attended by key stakeholders of the respective regions. Both the RUHRA and NUHRA will be presented and disseminated in the 11th Philippine National Health Research System Week Celebration at Cagayan de Oro City this August 2017.
