As the year comes towards commencing another fruitful year of comradeship among health research advocates and leaders, the Regional Health Research and Development Consortium XI conducted its General Assembly last December 09, 2016 at the Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City.

The General Assembly is an annual event where all members were enjoined to discuss and evaluate the accomplishments of the consortium through its various committees (Executive Committee, Human Resource and Development Committee, Research and Development Committee, Research Ethics Committee and Research Information and Utilization Committee). It was also the venue where each member got to know more of each other thereby building relationship and friendship.
Moreover, this General Assembly became unique and memorable as each member and member-institution renewed their commitment of supporting the health research sector in the region by signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This was made since the last signing was made during the early 2000 with 16 members. The consortium now grew by having 36 members as of the end of 2016.
